We had an uneventful pregnancy. Clare progressed normally, right on cue. Every measurment done by Dr. John Read showed that all of her was within a day or two or her due date (July 19, 22, or 24, depending on who was measuring). Everything was normal until May 20, when the amniotic membrane protecting Clare and holding her amniotic fluid ruptured. Amanda was admitted to Tacoma General Hospital that day.
